This dance film aims to reshape the spiritual strength of the Jino people through the lens of modernity. It portrays a contemporary individual entering the Jino forest, transitioning from observer to participant, and ultimately to a leader embodying the resilient upward spirit of the community. The Jino drum and the coming-of-age ceremony symbolize not only the traditions of the Jino people but also reflect my aspirations as a modern individual for the future. Through this brief four-and-a-half-minute video, I hope to inspire the younger generation to engage passionately with dance, heritage, and cultural preservation.
